Delete your account
You can permanently delete your HolaTheo account and its associated personal data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
Open HolaTheo → Profile → Delete account and confirm. Your account, practice history, coaching notes, and progress are removed.
By email
If you can't access the app, email contact@holatheo.com from the address on your account (or tell us your sign-in method) and we will delete your account.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your profile, practice transcripts, coaching notes and reviews, and progress.
- Kept: an irreversible, non-identifying hash of your sign-in identifier — not your name or email — solely to prevent repeated delete-and-recreate abuse of the free allowance. It cannot be reversed or used to contact you.
- Kept for 30 days (or until a paid subscription period ends, if later): attached to that hash only, your remaining purchased session balance and, for an active subscription, its expiry, plan, the conversations you have used in the current period, and a coded reference to the purchase (so a returning member's subscription is restored exactly as it was and can be linked back to the store). If you sign back in within the window, what you paid for is restored. After the window these values are permanently erased.
- We may also retain limited records where the law requires.
If you do not return within the window, remaining credits are forfeited — they have no cash value and are not refundable, except where a refund is required by law. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the store you subscribed through — Google Play on Android, or your Apple Account subscription settings on iOS — or it will keep renewing.
